Denton West Cricket Club are proud to announce that Maisie Cole has been selected to represent the Lancashire County Girls U13 team for the 2010 season. This is a great achievement by Maisie and made more special by the fact that Maisie is only 12 years old so will be playing against girls 12 months older than herself. Maisie will be playing plenty of games for Lancashire as there has been a regional league set up for the 2010 season. Everyone at Denton West Cricket Club are extremely proud of Maisie's achievements and we wish her all the best in her efforts for Lancashire, Tameside and Denton West U13's. |

The others joined them Siesta Time for Gringo at Prestwich CC

12:51 Dorothy (Mr Mulroy) and the gang arrive at Strangeways The Guys and Gals are setting a decent pace! 13:00 The convict and the Clown hit Victoria station Shambles is calling! Well played to all the City fans in an around Shambles for your support 13:31The tiger and family arrive at the Town Hall
The street collecting begins in earnest now - The walkers made the final leg look easy with a walk through Ardwick and Gorton where they bumped into a Morris Dancing event and for the second time in the day lost out in the fancy dress competition! The walkers returned to Windsor Park in time to see the first team win the league to cap a great day. The tiger, the clown and Dorothy made it to the end of the night in costume at the end of season party - it has to be said very much worse for wear although Tony the Tiger was the star of the dance floor! Dorothy looked better after 10 pints - er well 15 then
