Denton West's table tennis team won the Glossop Table Tennis League 2nd Division and with it The Harold Makings Memorial Trophy. The team,  Kev Appleton, Fran Marsden and Ken Wood had a really good season playing 20 games and losing just the 1. Fran Marsden won a personal trophy for winning the most games in the 2nd division at an average of 91%. Next year the 1st Division will prove to be a much greater challenge.
