Formby Cricket Club are members of the Liverpool Competition Cricket League and encourage all local males and females, who have an interest in cricket, to join the club and compete for a place in our four junior and four senior sides. We have a number of qualified coaches who go into the local schools coaching and developing the local talent. Consequently we have a thriving junior section with teams from under 9 years, under 11 years, under 13 years and under 15 years competing in the local leagues. Coupled with this we have upwards of 80 local children attending our cricket coaching sessions, at the club, on a Monday evening overseen by our excellent coaches. Our senior teams play in the highly competitive Liverpool and District Competition. To enable us to equip the junior sides with the necessary equipment of bats, pads and balls, as well as other key equipment is very expensive and a contribution from you would enable the club to replace some of the items. The club is an integral part of the community. Any donation helps us generate funds to assist the youth of today and encourage future generations to play sport and get involved in team activities. We are a family club, which as well as cricket, boasts a hockey and a squash section for people of all ages to get involved in.
