Glossop Cricket Club is delighted to announce a new shirt sponsorship deal with E-Petch Printers Ltd. The printing company, based in Stalybridge, has agreed to become the principal club sponsor for the 2012 season and is very impressed with the direction that the club is going in - both on and off the field. Especially regarding the succesful Friday Night Junior Coaching that happens at the ground during the season and the junior set up as a whole. Watch out for GCC brand new kit designs this season complete with E-Petch Printers Ltd logo and the weekly E-Petch Printers 'Man of the Match' award! |

Glossop Cricket Club AGM was held last night (20th January)  A review of the previous seasons financial, social and cricketing progress was given by Chairman Alan Garlick before the important matter of electing officials for the forthcoming year at Glossop. The Officials of the Cricket Committee were duly happy to stand again for the posts and were fully supported by all in attendance. (Alan Garlick will remain as Cricket Chairman, Julia Coates as Treasurer and Christine Rogers as Secretary.) Three members were proposed to join the Cricket Committee. John Stopford, David Wilde and Bob Hargreaves will join other members of the Club in the running and development of the Cricket Club. Alan Garlick was especially pleased to see such a 'youthful' presence, with many committee members still playing for the senior teams. |
