 Prestwich 2XI stayed top of the LCL Second Division on Saturday as Sean Haslams 52 set Thornham 188 to win. The visitors fell just short in a closely contested game with Walshy, Bradders and Dulux sharing the wickets.

 Prestwich Second string went back to the top of the league following Saturday's victory over title chasing Woodhouses and followed it up with a weather affected victory against Irlam which was drawn out for three days. John Walters picked up 9 wickets over the 2 games.
