The persistant rain over the last few days caused havoc with last weekend's fixtures with the only cricket being played on Friday night. Prestwich lost at Little Lever in a close 20 over game in the National Knock-Out but won through to the next round of the Thwaites Lancashire Cup after a 3-1 bowl-out win at home to Padiham on Sunday. The league game at Dukinfield was called off immediately upon arrival at the ground on Saturday. |

 Cheshire ECB Premier League side Alderley Edge entertained Prestwich in their 1st Round match of the 2006 Cockspur Cup. Three wickets each for Bradley and Duxbury helped limit the home side to 145ao from 34.1 overs. Prestwich cruised past the total with Duxbury and Walker both hitting unbeaten half-centuries in a convincing 9 wicket win. |
