Richard ScargillRichard Scargill top scored for Prestwich in his first knock for the first team as the Heys Road men's grip on the Division One title loosened following a 7 wicket defeat to Glossop. With a wash-out at Roe Green on Sunday, Prestwich sit in 7th place in the division but already 15 points behind leaders Denton St Lawrence.

3rd's Brave Fightback Fails

Andy HeaverAt a very windy Failsworth, skipper Andy Heaver won the toss and chose to bat. Jack and Gibbo opening for the 3rd successive game started with the usual speed. Jack racing away hitting a fast 27, deciding that running wasn’t him as he scored 26 of his runs in boundaries!!!

Seans small headA sensational unbeaten 122 from Sean Haslam fired the second team 5 points clear at the top of Division 2 on Saturday whilst Richard Scargill hit 65 on Sunday to help rescue the teams fading Hulme Trophy hopes.

Peter WaltersTwo of Prestwich's brightest young batting talents hit their highest-ever scores as Prestwich pulled off two amazing victories last weekend. Peter Walters struck a brilliant century against title challengers Woodhouses on Saturday which helped the Heys side to a 14-run victory.

Ollie top scored with 40Prestwich’s bid to banish their bogey ground voodoo failed again last Saturday at Denton St Lawrence. Last year’s runners-up proved too tough a nut crack on home soil as they ripped through the Heys batting order.
