ClubAnnual Cricket Players meeting is tonight (Monday 17th September) at 7pm. This will include election of Captains and Officials for next season so if you want to have your say, you need to be there!!

QuadruplePrestwich Cricket Club made history on Saturday when the first team clinched the Lees Lancashire County League. It meant the first and second team had achieved the unprecedented feat of winning all four major trophies.

The first team had already lifted the Walkden Cup last month, while the second team also achieved the league and cup double.

Seconds March On

John GarstangPrestwich 2XI marched to two more victories at weekend. Potential runners up Woodhouses were dismantled on Saturday by Bradders' 7 wicket haul and an unbeaten 114 from John Garstang. DSL were dismissed on Sunday by another 7 wickets for the skipper and 88 from Mike Taylor. In their last game this weekend the side will be attempting to break the league record for number of points gained in a season.
 
Trophy Quadruple Still On Track

Ian WalkerPrestwich Cricket Club's pursuit of four major trophies took a step nearer last weekend when the second team clinched their league title. With both the first team and second teams winning their respective cups last month, the club is chasing a unique four-timer.

2XI Retain Championship

Hulme Trophy WinPrestwich 2XI retained the Championship Trophy on Saturday when they beat Denton West in a closely fought game at The Heys. Chasing just 139 for victory Prestwich were reduced to 102 for 8 before Tom Barling and Matt Walsh brought the title home with some scintillating blows. Match Report to follow.
