A BREATHTAKING innings by teenager Peter Walters came to Prestwich's rescue in a remarkable one-wicket victory over rivals Roe Green. It would have taken more than jelly beans to disturb Walters' concentration at the crease as the talented youngster played an innings of exceptional maturity. |

The Second Team gleaned a full 10 points from their crunch double header with 2nd and 3rd placed sides Roe Green and Cheetham Hill. They are now 14 points clear at the top of Division 2. Bradders claimed 8 for 30 over the two games as both sides were dismissed for under 100.

Prestwich 2XI powered into their sixth successive Hulme Trophy final on Tuesday night after bowling Denton out for just 33. The Tamesiders had no answer to some superb bowling, catching and fielding. Dulux took 4 wickets and Walsh 3.
