Our First XI play hosts to DENTON WEST CC on both days this weekend. Saturday being a league match and Sunday THE WALKDEN CUP FINAL. Saturday our 2nd XI are away at Denton West CC. All matches are 1.00pm start. |

Many congratulations to u-17's Team Manager Terry Megram and his boys on defeating Prestwich CC, on their own ground, in the final of the Greenhalgh Cup (18/07/10) - a fantastic allround team effort, everybody contributing to such a resounding and well deserved victory. Man of the match was, no suprises, Nick Doyle with his 117. It is an understatement to say that Nick is in form at the moment, he must be seeing it like a beach ball. WCC 217 in their 40 overs, PCC all out 56. A big thank you must also go to Tracey Cook and Diane Wolstenholme for starting the lads day well with a hearty breakfast at Woodhouses in the morning before 'boarding the bus' to travel to Prestwich. Well done to all, great team work on and off the field. |
