THIS SATURDAY (10th) OUR FIRST XI WELCOME DUKINFIELD CC TO MEDLOCK ROAD. THIS IS A LEAGUE MATCH AND START TIME IS 1.00pm - 2nd team - reverse.                                                          Congratulations to Captain Mike Cassidy and his team on reaching the final of the Walkden Cup. Last Sunday the lads travelled up to Glossop CC and were determined to wipeout the memory of a heavy defeat up there in the recent league fixture. Notable performances from Josh Tolley and Nick Doyle with the bat and Mansoor with the ball. However the outstanding allround performance of the day was by Mike Cassidy for his contribution with the bat, ball, three catches and excellent captaincy. We now face Denton West CC in the final on Sunday 1st August and finally we have been given a home draw. CONFIRMATION - WC FINAL AT MEDLOCK ROAD versus DENTON WEST ON SUNDAY 1st AUGUST.
